I needed a haircut while on Holidays and Gemma was able to get me in with Shaz. I have to say that Shaz did an absolute amazing job with my cut! She is so easy to talk to and did a fantastic job! I am so happy with my haircut!
For anyone looking for a salon with kind, respectful, and caring staff. Indigo Salon has risen beyond expectations and has been so wonderful every time I have had appointments. Having moved to Edinburgh I was worried about finding a salon that was calm and had an open space as I deal with oversensory issues. I couldn't have been luckier to find Indigo. I have had my hair done by Gemma before and shes absolutely wonderful and gave me a lovely haircut. But most of the time I have had my hair cut and hair dyed by Criag. Not only has he been so understanding and made sure each time I got the hair I wanted he goes above and beyond for the people he does hair for. Just an overall amazing experience at this salon and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else here in Edinburgh.<br><br>Also super LGBTQIA+ friendly and respectful for all disability needs!!

I was traveling in Edinburgh from the US and decided to book a shampoo and blow dry here since the salon was conveniently close to my Airbnb. They were able to accommodate my date and time request, which I really appreciated.<br>The salon interior is cute and modern, and the whole place has a welcoming vibe. My stylist, Craig, was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and professional. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment and took the time to explain the products he was using. My blowout turned out beautifully and exactly what I was hoping for. Highly recommend this salon, especially Craig, if you’re looking for great service and great results!
I got my hair cut with Craig the other day and had an excellent experience. Craig listened to what I wanted and took on the challenge gladly even though it was first thing in the morning! We had some lovely chats and I felt very comfortable, and I really enjoyed Craig's company. I'm sure I'll be back again!

Got my hair done my Craig here and he did such an amazing job taking the weight off my hair, it was so silky and nice when I left and so affordable 🙌 100% would recommend going here
Gemma is fantastic, only hairdresser I’ve had to truly understands how to work with my hair and produces great results every time. All the staff are great as well, always welcoming and helpful.

Finding a new hairdresser is always such a daunting experience and it took me half an age. Eventually landed here and booked in with Craig. Could not be happier with the result, he's done magic. I will definitely be back and I've finally found my new go-to hairdresser that's nearby and doesn't break the bank.<br><br>Edit a few months later: I feel like most people walk out of the salon looking fabulous but I can't style my hair to save my life, so 3 washes later I usually can't maintain the shape anymore. Not so with this cut, I've had so many good hair days since I got my hair cut by Craig. I told him I don't style and boy, did he understand the assignment. So appreciated!
Just had first visit with Craig. I explained that i was at a loss, had a great honest consultation, cut with his honest opinion and next appointment being scheduled asap. Fab pamper experience with a lovely team and great salon atmosphere
I left the salon very satisfied. I appreciate attention to details, and I was pleased to be offered coffee/tea, as well as the relaxing head massage during the hair wash. Overall, a very nice place, will come back again.

My first adventure with Indigo and had a great time. Craig cut my hair and I’m delighted with it. He offered advice and opinions in a really constructive way. Had a super chat too which really made the whole experience.
I really like going back to Indigo Hair&Beauty as I am always pleased with the professional service and how friendly the staff are. This time I went for the full package: balayage, pink toner, haircut, blowdry and style, all done by Craig. I really loved how he walked me through what he will do, made sure it's what I wanted, checked in as we progressed and made sure I am happy with the result. He was also very friendly and chatty and didn't feel like I spent hours at the salon. Not to mention I was treated to a delicious piece of cake and coffee that made me feel truly pampered.

He was incredibly attentive, taking the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and offering great suggestions to make sure my fringe suited my face shape and style. His skill and precision were evident throughout the entire process. The trim was flawless, giving me the perfect length and shape I was hoping for.
